WELCOME TO THE LOAD RESEARCH CHAPTER HOME PAGE
In a dynamic environment such as technology, particularly that of energy, it is important to make sure that we are actively looking for the best use of the resources and skills available in order to advance the state of load research in the country and within the SAIEE in particular.
The LRC abides by the three following major pillars, simply given as:
- Our Purpose: To create a knowledge sharing platform in the areas of R&D (academic and otherwise) as well as a platform for the application of LR
- Our Scope: This spans across LR resource creation, results broadcasting, and applications.
- Our Objectives: Tracking historical trends, detecting and modelling the impact of technology advancements, redefining load models, and providing input to the SANS 507 standard.
