How does this platform work?

Professionals can review courses they are interested in, complete the registration, and the course will be assigned to them upon payment for the course. Festo LX is a user-friendly web-based learning portal that allows users to access their courses anywhere and anytime. All that is needed is a tablet, laptop, or smartphone with an internet connection. Upon completion, users receive certificates for completing all the learning paths on Festo LX, which can boost the credibility of engineers in the job market. These certifications demonstrate technical proficiency and help professionals stand out in a competitive industry. SAIEE Training Academy e-learning courses available on Festo LX

Please peruse the e-Learning Brochure below. Once you have perused the available courses, and have identified the course you are interested in attending, please navigate to the next heading titled 'How to Register for an e-Learning course'.


How do I register for SAIEE e-learning courses?

Step 1: Reviewing courses on offer and registering for SAIEE Training Academy e-learning courses

SAIEE Training Academy e-learning courses are listed at the bottom of the SAIEE e-Learning webpage, and are updated as new courses are added on Festo LX. We invite you to review the courses on offer and identify the course(s) you are interested in applying for.

Once you have identified which course(s) you would like to attend, please click on the register button below to register for those courses.



Step 2: Creating a Festo LX account

After registering for the courses you wish to take, you will need a Festo LX account to access the e-learning course. Navigate to lx.festo.com, and create an account (at the top right of your screen on the Festo LX page, click on "New Here? Create an Account"). Once you have completed your account and logged in, review the "Festo LX - How It Works | For Learners" course module for a better understanding of the Festo LX system

Step 3: Accessing the courses you registered for

Registrations are checked twice a week - on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Once registering, please allow up to TWO (2) BUSINESS DAYS for your registration to reflect. 

Upon successfully registering your details, the course(s) you are interested in and submitting your registration, a quote will be sent to the email address you provided on your registration form with a UNIQUE REFERENCE NUMBER for the course(s) you are registering for, as well as the SAIEE's banking details. SAIEE Training Academy staff will then review registrations and submit a quote to you.

Upon payment for the courses you registered for, the SAIEE Training Academy will assign you to those courses on the Festo LX platform, after which you can login to your account on Festo LX and beging the courses you applied and paid for.
