What is the UJ SAIEE Student Chapter
It is basically a student organisation composed of registered SAIEE student members. We are a sub-unit of the SAIEE motherboard and our primary role is to introduce fellow students to the SAIEE with the goal of creating an atmosphere for other students to be part of our student Chapter. We will be hosting activities and events throughout the year to engage with our students and have more visibility within the faculty.
The objective is to help students gain more appreciation for the electrical and electronic engineering profession and to be placed in a better position to participate in the engineering profession, either as an employee or by forming their own company.
Membership
Membership is free of charge and exclusively to registered students at the University of Johannesburg, persuing a degree in Electrical and Electronic engineering.
However, members need to register to the SAIEE motherboard inorder to gain full membership benefits.
