ABOUT THE UKZN STUDENT CHAPTER

Welcome to the University of KwaZulu-Natal Student Chapter of the South African Institute of Electrical Engineers (SAIEE). As passionate advocates for the fields of Electrical, Electronic, and Computer Engineering, we are dedicated to fostering a vibrant community of students who share our enthusiasm for innovation and technology.

Our chapter is open to all students, from second-year undergraduates to postgraduate scholars, who are pursuing studies in Electrical, Electronic, or Computer Engineering. We believe in the power of collaboration and diversity, welcoming students from various backgrounds and perspectives to join us in our mission.

At our core, we are committed to inspiring and guiding the next generation of engineering professionals. Through a range of academic and social initiatives, we strive to enhance the university experience for our members. SAIEE UKZN Chapter host their first Executive Committee Meeting

Our inaugural SAIEE UKZN Student Chapter executive committee meeting marks the beginning of an exciting journey. We discussed our roles, set goals, brainstormed ideas for engaging activities, and carefully planned our budget. Our focus remains on fostering a strong sense of community, attracting new members, and building meaningful partnerships to advance electrical, electronic and computer engineering's education and research.
